First thing to remember is that Yield isn’t considered a hand sanitizer (as the FDA requires certain chemicals to be present in Hand Sanitizers to make that claim). That is why we’re not making claims about its results on hands, but it’s easy to understand why Yield bottle would be helpful in cleaning hands.

Operation
If you aren’t using Yield for 5 or more days, empty its reservoir, press the activation button to clear water from the system, and store the appliance upright and indoors. Next time you use it, first, charge for minimum 3-hours, second, fill the reservoir with water and, third, spray until the reservoir is empty again. After this procedure, you can fill Yield bottle with normal tap water and start using it.
As soon as you have charged your Yield bottle and filled its reservoir with cold tap water, press the activation button toward the top of the unit. A continuous blue light on top indicates that the appliance is working and producing oxidant water. Spray as directed, letting the oxidant water set for at least 30 seconds before you wipe it (wiping isn’t required) or resume using the area you sprayed. Note, Yield bottle can spray not longer than 10 seconds at a time and then will pause for 1 second.
First, you need to empty out the reservoir of all water and fill it half full of vinegar. Next, press on the activation button until all the vinegar is gone. Then fill the reservoir fully up with tap water, press the application button until it is empty. Finally refill with water and Yield is ready for use again!
Yield’s battery will be enough to make 60 sprays of 10 seconds each, or approximately 3 full tanks of water.
A red light signals you that Yield’s battery is low. If the red light blinks three times and your Yield bottle no longer sprays, it’s time to charge. In 3 hours it will be ready to use.
Charge Yield minimum for 3 hours each time, even after the light at the top of your unit starts flashing blue. Use only the USB power adapter and cord provided with Yield. Connect one end to the charging port located on the back of the sprayer, and the other end into a standard electrical outlet.

No, none of the Yield parts is suitable for the dishwasher.
Fill the reservoir by twisting the upper half of Yield counter-clockwise, removing the reservoir, and adding COLD tap water. If this is your first usage of Yield, let out at least three 10-second sprays.
A red light on the upper part of Yield bottle signals you that your battery is low. If the red light blinks three times and Yield no longer sprays, it’s time to charge. In 3 hours it will be ready for use!
Most furniture parts and home goods made from steel have a protective coating that prevents rust. Otherwise, all sorts of liquid could rust them. So while we can’t speak for each and every product, we can say that if you can spray a cleaner on it, it’s allowed to use Yield oxidant water.

You only put cold tap water in your Yield, so there is never a need to clean the reservoir.
Good question! It is really very important not to use osmoses or demineralized water. It can influence our electrode which is very sensitive and as a result Yield bottle can be broken.
